I agree. But there are plenty of places here in the USA where similar things would have happened to her.

Not very likely this would happen here out in the open with thousands present as it was in Egypt.
First you would have to have a gathering of several thousand people. Perhaps hundreds debased enough to stand by and watch as this was done in the street without lifting a finger.
