In January 1842, a band of 4,500 British troops and over 12,000 men, women, and children began a withdrawal from Kabul, Afghanistan to Jalalabad, Pakistan under a flag of truce. The journey was about 90 miles, but the Afghan tribes reneged on the truce and massacred the column in the mountain passes. Only one survivor, a doctor, escaped to tell the world about this butchery at the hands of the Muslims.
It's now 2011 and we're at war with these barbaric followers of Mohammad and nothing has changed. Did I miss something here?
