O.J. Simpson's been an afterthought since he went to prison, but a report today that he was brutally beaten by skinheads in his prison cell has him back in the media spotlight.
The National Enquirer, which gained noticeable sports cred when they broke the Tiger Woods scandal, reports that Simpson was "beaten unconscious in a brutal prison yard attack" and is now so messed-up mentally that he can't leave his cell.
"Unfortunately for O.J., a group of young skinhead punks were within earshot - and they were enraged," Bruce Fromong, a former business partner of Simpson's told the Enquirer.
The Enquirer's report indicates that Simpson decided to "brag about his sexual conquests of beautiful white women" and that didn't sit to well with a group of "white supremacists."
Simpson, now 63-years-old is apparently "afraid to venture out of his cell" following the reported attack.
Unfortunately, Simpson is probably a long shot to garner much sympathy for his situation, which says a lot about what he did to end up in the Nevada Correctional Center.

Given the evidence at his first trial, that kind of bragging is in really, really bad taste. One doesn’t have to be a white supremacist to have their stomach turned by it. I always thought the best remedy was for Simpson to be shunned by all. I don’t condone a beating. But someone’s going to get beat-up. If anyone had it coming, it was Simpson.
Didn’t the National Enquirer a few years ago expose Rush Limbaugh as being a space alien?
Argentina has seized a military cargo and no real news coverage. There are so many things that get no MSM attention that should be huge.
Maybe it’s time - and equally important - that black America come to understand that whitey will no longer put up with black-on-white crime, the crazy lawsuits, the idiotic 9-1-1 calls, the horrible behavior in schools, on the streets, in theaters and malls, etc., the littering, the general rudeness and demanding expectations of cradle-to-grave benefits and pick-pocketing us to provide for their every whim.
I thought that earlier today, we read this was not true.
Maybe he was hoping for a suicide-by-skinhead moment. Maybe he wanted to be put out of his misery, once and for all. Maybe if he’d just hand someone a rope, they’d oblige.
Maybe this will give him a different perspective on what it was like for the women he beat up and battered. Might look a lot differet on the other side of the fist.
Let him heal up, then do it again ... and again ... and again ...

I don’t want to become a Simpson apologist; but, skinheads are not choir boys. The very beating of Simpson may have been an initiation rite for a new member. At very least, a skinhead has to beat a minority to gain entrance. In most cases, they have to commit pre-meditated murder against a minority.
Our jails are a mess.
Well, getting beat senseless is still better than getting your head damn near sawed off by a knife-wielding lunatic.

Sometimes justice for one thing comes out of injustice of another. God can allow things to work out ironically that way.
Am I in favor of guards or other inmates being able to beat on anyone they want? No. Is it wise to provoke the guards or inmates while in jail yourself? No. If OJ had not done anything and was targeted while minding his own business, would I approve of him getting beaten up? No. Do I feel bad for him for provoking hardcore skinheads to the point they kicked the crap out of him for what he knew would piss them off? Not really.
