I don’t know whether to laugh or cry! I guess the idea that we pay for people to engage in irresponsible sex and then fund the activity, makes it appealling to tax it.

Hey wait a minute! I would then be paying taxes that would go toward funding abortion, then I would be taxing the abortion customers, and therefore paying taxes on the taxes. That means I would be taxing myself? Hey this could catch on!

Evil always fights and never goes down easy. The only way to defeat it is to shine light on it.

How misguided and judgmental this governor is; who does he think he is!

Doesn't he know that these clinics prevent serious complications, and even the deaths of women, from filthy back room abortions, performed by unqualified butchers, using untrained assistants and unsterile instruments?

OH! It was a “licensed clinic”, but still filthy; the staff was still untrained, as well as mostly unlicensed...some even still in high school, but administering drugs; the instruments were still often unsterile, and even dirty; and the “doctor”, though licensed, was still unqualified...and often not even present for the procedure.

Anyone want to explain the difference between a legal abortion, and a ‘back alley abortion using a bent coat-hanger’, in practical terms?

Spot on! There is no difference whatsoever between the modern day abortuary and the so called “back alley” variety. I believe the average tattoo parlour is more regulated than are abortion clinics.

This has been a long time coming. The light is now shining...
