Why didn’t the King, whne he was Crown Prince, marry a Jordaninan woman? There are more Palestinians in Jordan than Jordanians. IIRC King Abdullah's father (or grandfather) massacred a large number of them to stop an uprising. Marrying a Palestinian was a very tactical political move.
