NOGALES, Ariz. (AP) - The mayors of 3 Arizona border cities are asking Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu to tone down his comments about border security problems.
The mayors of Nogales, San Luis and Douglas say the statements are hurting their towns.
In a letter sent to the sheriff, the mayors say they would appreciate it if Babeu would refrain from cultivating a culture of fear.

Sounds like this guy is on the payroll of the Mexican cartel..Why else would he want a good sheriff that know what he is talking about calm it down..

The mayors would prefer Babeu lie — so that their citizens (and newcomers) may better experience the thrill of illegal immigration.
The mayors don’t want their private drug business to suffer.
Douglas has a pretty good fence, but it’s ends are near town.
Bingo. A lot of them end up being exposed as being on somebody's payroll, even on the U.S. side. On the Mexican side, it's taken for granted.
Since the AP didn’t name them along with the Sheriff.

Illegal Immigrants Detained, Then Released After Traffic Stop
ELLSWORTH — A traffic stop on Route 1 Sunday led police to discover two illegal immigrants, who were questioned and subsequently released by an immigration official, police reported.
The incident occurred when Officer Chris Smith stopped a vehicle because it had a fictitious inspection sticker.
Two Hispanic men who were passengers in the car had fake identification, said Lt. Harold Page.
Smith brought the men to the police station, where they were questioned by a U.S. Immigrations and Custom Enforcement agent from the agency’s Bangor office.
The agent determined the men were in the United States illegally and let them go, Page said.
“They work for a guy in Massachusetts and he had them up here working on his house,” said Page.
A spokesman for the agency had not returned a call before press time.

ICE will not detain or arrest them for using fake ID’S,police will not charge them for giving police fake id’s, ICE will not arrest them for illegally working here, Illegals already have it very easy. Most laws we comply with, they are excused from or not charged at all .This must of been a very important guy.

If I lived on the border I would shoot and ask questions later then go over into Mexico and bury the thugs that illegaluy came to this country..All we need is someone to close the borders and show that we are at war with the murdering thugs in Mexico..Find and close all the tunnels they they bring the drugs through..We only get a few so the people will think there is something being done when it is not..I say everyone blow those tunnels to king dome come..and shoot to kill anyone that tries to come across illegally
