Do you still need to own two Land Rovers - one to drive while the other one is in the shop.

As far as I can see, the only drivers of new Jaguars are Americans of Indian extraction. I suppose Indian doctors.

I have a Jag. When it was owned by Ford I put a Ford emblem on it, but took it off when it was sold to Tata. So now I drive a Tata. The Ford emblem pissed off the Ford dealers but it drew some on the streets. I always said it was a 2015 model.

The Tatas have extremely long-range vision. When they bought JLR they were derided by everyone, but they kept the faith and I think Ratan Tata said that he buys companies for the long-term not thinking just of the next year or next decade.

And their stock plumetted, but whoever bought their stock THEN is sitting very happy now.

And look at Tata Motors now -- doing very well.
