... And Razing Cain [Left attacking Sarah, Herman, Clarence, Michele and Allen]
Investor's Business Daily ^ | February 16, 2011 | The Editors

Political Discourse: Once again the hypocritical left racially attacks an African-American Republican who happens to be conservative and capitalist. Visible symbols exposing the big lie of a racist GOP must be destroyed.

The age of civility, like the era of post-racial politics, is a mirage created by liberals to mute criticism of their policies by committed conservatives. Otherwise, we wouldn't see the continued abuse heaped by liberals on women and minorities who dare to be conservative, members of the Tea Party or the GOP, or all of the above.

The latest example of leftist vitriol has Herman Cain, former CEO of Godfather's Pizza, current radio talk-show host and possible 2012 GOP presidential contender, as its — dare we say? — target.

Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, Clarence Thomas and Allen West, among others, have already felt the wrath of the righteous left for shattering its, and the media's, stereotypes of women and minorities as docile sheep of a paternalistic government.

After Cain's rousing speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference, in which he shredded the tenets of big government and extolled the benefits of the free market, a leftist sewer on the Web, AlterNet, attacked him in a way that would make the Ku Klux Klan blush.....

It doesn’t matter who steps up. They will be savaged by the media and the left. What was done to Palin will be done to anyone. I bring this up when people talk about her as ‘damaged goods.’ Bottom line is any conservative and eventually any RINO will be brutally attacked 24/7 by Hollywood, late night, new media and the leftist groups. The one that can withstand it and work around these forces is the right candidate.

The one that can withstand it and work around these forces is the right candidate.

Worth repeating.

The media environment is going to be a red-hot crucible. Only a few Republican candidates will be able to withstand the flames. She is one o them...

I’m curious— do you think Herman Cain can work around it? From what I have seen so far, I think so.

Yes, I believe he could. He is, for sure, on my short list.

Absolutely right! And for the record, Sarah Palin isn't damaged goods. She's taken everything the left/right/media/Democrats/GOP has thrown at her and slung it right back at them. The only way an attack succeeds if by surrendering. Surrendering isn't something that Palin is apt to do.

I respect Cain immensely, but black people will not vote for a black republican. Even if you went down the list where they agree with conservative positions way more than liberal positions, they just won’t pull the lever for a black person with an “R” behind their name.

, but black people will not vote for a black republican.

A self-evident truth. White people will have to elect him.

Just like white people elected J.C. Watts, Allen West, etc.
