Long ago Bill Buckley drummed the anti-Semites out of the conservative movement, and the movement thrived as a result. But the Jew-haters have returned. For years the Texas crackpot, Ron Paul, has been attacking America and Israel as imperialist powers — the Great Satan and the Little Satan, and calling for America’s retreat from the battle against our totalitarian enemies. At the recent CPAC conference Paul’s Jew-hating storm-troopers swarmed the Freedom Center’s table to vent their spleen against Israel as a Nazi state. Now Paul is making a priority of withdrawing aid for Israel — the only democracy in the Middle East and the only reliable ally of the United States. Don’t be deceived. This Ron Paul proposal would not lower our budget deficit. By abandoning Israel while its enemies are gaining strength, the risk of a major war in the Middle East would increase. The U.S. gives billions of dollars a year to foreign countries that hate us and regularly vote against us at the United Nations. But, Israel votes with the U.S. 97% of the time.

I have not seen evidence that Ron Paul is a VICIOUS ANTI-SEMITE, but his supporter may harbor a few of them. Just like the Republican and Democrat party. We should cut all foreign aid to countries. Now if we were in the middle of a hot war, I could see supporting friends. Not for 60 years, if they are such good friend they wouldn’t need our money.
I am all for looking out for American interests first. The anti-American mentality in the middle-east is mainly because of American support of Israel.
The result is much higher price for gasoline and heating oil. After giving $200 Billion+ gifts to Israel, since 1948, it is time for Israel to stand on it’s own. If we had budget surpluses, I would have no problem continuing the tax payer gifts. But I can’t see the wisdom of going in deeper hock to China to prop up Israel.

During his campaign Paul's people claimed he didn't write it but it was HIS newsletter, contained his by: line, and as you can see, it was even written in the first person as if it were by him. IF he did not write this, and it was written by Lew Rockwell as they tried to float, then he and Rockwell committed a fraud on his followers. It also means how can you trust anything he supposedly wrote, even if it contained a by: line and he isn't just a tool of Rockwell and company.
Yet he has little to say about the billions we send to Arab/Muslim countries. ...countries that don't pay us back (other than with more resentment/hatred). And of course RP has little if anything at all to say when Arabs target innocent Israelis with homicide bombs, but he's never at a loss for words when the Israelis defend themselves, invariably calling the Israeli actions "criminal."

I saw a knock down drag out fight on Larry King awhile back between Ron Paul and Ben Stein. His suggestion is that we cut aid to EVERYONE.

Personally I support Israel unreservedly however your post prompts the following question. If it is possible to oppose Obama without being a racist, is it not also possible to oppose Israel without being an anti-semite?

I do not have a dog in this fight. My handle is hate speech according to muzlims. And I HOPE they don’t like it!
I just cannot understand why devout Christians are so taken to task, when their goals are missions that are nothing more than missions to preserve our very way of life against the darkness.
Make no mistake. I AM NOT A CHRISTIAN. I am a person who believes that my God gave me life, and when He breathed life into my body, He told me to take His gift to me, and do with it what I could and might, with any talents that He may have bestowed on me. (Which were few. Not a complaint.)
And at the end of our lives,(mine included) (we come into life alone and naked, we leave alone and naked) the only entity in this universe that I have to justify myself to is that entity, the one who granted me life in the first place.
My point here, is that Ron Paul is NOT an antiSemite. He has many Arab friends! (Remember now, Jew, Saudis’ Iraquis, everyone except Persians, are Semites.)
Ron Paul is American. He is concerned about our life, our culture, our way of life.
