The AP as Union Mouthpiece

This Associated Press report on events in Wisconsin is interesting. For example, we read, “As Republicans tried to begin Senate business Thursday, observers in the gallery screamed ‘Freedom! Democracy! Unions!’” That’s what you want in the gallery, right? Screaming. How democratic and civilized.

We also read, “Protesters clogged the hallway outside the Senate chamber, beating on drums, holding signs deriding Walker and pleading for lawmakers to kill the bill.”

“Beating on drums”? Beating on drums? These were public-school teachers, right? In any case, they were public employees. Beating on things is what little kids do when they’re not getting their way, or demanding something. Of course, the beating of drums is meant to menace and intimidate too.

America’s liberals must be very proud. Mobbing the legislature and beating on drums! Bear in mind that the Left is the thinking, sophisticated, and humane party in America.

Contrast the union thugs behavior with the homeschooler protest of Illinois bill SB136 on Tuesday this week. I heard there were at least 9 arrests in Wisconsin. The Illinois protest was peaceful. And Republican lawmakers were not derelict and fleeing their jobs and their state like Wisconsin Democrats.

This is what happens when we vote ourselves largess from local, state and federal govs... but its the tax payers who get crushed. Everybody’s ox must get gored to correct this heinous problem... take the sucker away from the baby and what happens? baby screams bloody murder, and standers-by, not understanding your situation, look at you with disdain for making the baby cry. Unions are the baby, democrats are the standers-by and republicans are parents.

Just imagine if the Tea Party acted this way.

Every photo on ABCCNNCBS etc is of a soccer mom-looking teacher, not the union thugs carrying Hitler signs. Yet if roles were reversed and these were conservatives you know what people/signs they’d be promoting.

And this only one month after lecturing conservatives on “civility.” Unreal!

How does this report make the AP a union mouthpiece?

Thanks for the email address:

govgeneral@wisconsin.gov

I just wrote him a letter of support. I doubt very much that the governor will ever see it but it sure made me feel better.

I also doubt the gov will ever see letters of support. They most likely have system to pile the support letters against the oppose letters.

At the end of the day if the gov gets more support letters than oppose letters, he probably feels ok.

After looking at the crowd pictures, I’d guess half the demonstrators were high-school students brought to the Capital by their teachers.

Probably illegal on many accounts, e.g., in most states, it’s illegal to take a student on a field trip without written parental permission.

Sent my letter of support (keep them simple and short, I suppose). Let your voices be heard.

Just imagine if the Tea Party acted this way.

That was my thought too. The media has their heads so far up .....

Illustration of Tea Party scary 'racists' protesting ...

Here's the calm 'enlightened' liberals protesting .... (parents, this is who is teaching your children)

Which ones are more likely to incite violence?
