It sounds as if Walker is going to stay strong. I think he will. Reagan took incredible heat for the air traffic controller thing, but in the end, he won, they lost.

These people need to grow up and realize that a lot of people don’t have jobs. Being a teacher or other ‘public servant’ doesn’t make one holy or off bounds.

Any real sympathy the teachers/public unions had when this started is GONE. The State of WI had a historical vote only 3 months ago and in a landslide us voters sent this group to Madison to do exactly this.

This is happening period.

IF ANY of those missing lawmakers in Wisconsin have ANY sort of credit card that the state pays for, each & every one of those cards should be cancelled immediately. Leave them stranded? So be it.

IF I ran a business & had any employee who held a company credit card & I knew for sure that this person:

1. Had not come to work deliberately for the past 3 days

2. Was known to be out of the state, hiding in another state

3. Was deliberately trying tp put a finger up MY nose

I would have cancelled that credit card before 24 hours had passed. I would also tell the CC company that I would not pay a single charge past the5 PM time stamp of the last day my ‘employee’ had been known to be on the job & within the confines of the state.

4. IF that employee is driving a company car- I would report it STOLEN & ask that an APB be put out & the driver of said vehicle seized & charges would be filed. I would do this even if it was a leased car that my company paid for. If the lease car is in the name of the person driving it, I would have called the lease company & legally informed them that I was no longer paying the lease as of 5 PM the day they last worked.

5. I would research the benefits they are drawing as my employee & I would have frozen some of them, if I could.

6. I would have had my lawyer draft a letter & had it hand-delivered to their place of residence that they were no longer employed as of 5 PM the day they last worked & to return all keys- credit cards- materials they are holding currently. For security reasons, I would have locksmith’s change all office & warehouse keys & have all passwords on computers changed. Any internet fees the company is paying for their computers or laptops would be stopped.

I would be damned if I would tolerate such behavior from an employee.

It is beyond arrogant that these elected ‘officials’ are behaving in such a manner.
