One thing that struck me yesterday when the Tea Party fellow caught up with The Runaway Senators was how casual and normal they seemed. As if they were startled ANYONE would think it odd they had decided to RUN AWAY from their jobs.
I am conflicted on this. Part of me says, let them go. Let them avoid the capitol for as long as they want. Gov Walker can simply deal with the deficit by issuing pink slips to union members in the public sector. That will permanently rid us of at least some of these parasites.
Hold the vote down at the pokey where the orange jumpsuited (D) finds himself, and have the Tea Party "Don't Tread on Me Flag" all over the walls in the background, and another banner placed behind the chair to which the (D) is hand cuffed which says "Fugitive Senators, we're comin' to get you next!"
Issue an Executive Order for the formal arrest of each of the others unless they willingly turn themselves in within 6 hours. Issue another Executive Order to the effect that if they fail to report after 2 weeks, their seats will be formally vacated and he will appoint senators to serve in their place in advance of special elections.
