MADISON, WIS. - President Obama thrust himself and his political operation this week into Wisconsin's broiling budget battle, mobilizing opposition Thursday to a Republican bill that would curb public-worker benefits and planning similar protests in other state capitals. Obama accused Scott Walker, the state's new Republican governor, of unleashing an "assault" on unions in pushing emergency legislation that would change future collective-bargaining agreements that affect most public employees, including teachers.

The president's political machine worked in close coordination Thursday with state and national union officials to get thousands of protesters to gather in Madison and to plan similar demonstrations in other state capitals.

It is beginning to look like the battle between the Marxists and Constitutionalists is finally joined in Wisconsin.

Glad it is the teachers union representing the Marxist, teachers represent the worst of the worst in union (marxist) labor. The education given our kids is terrible, they can't read, write, do math or think for themselves. They score consistently at the bottom on international tests. So we could not ask for a better union to take on.

I am kindof surprised Obama threw in with the Teachers Union in this fight, guess he is trying to make this a nation wide battle, hmmmm, mean while unemployment is up, inflation is up and tax revnue is down. Things can't go on like they are for much longer, something has got to give soon.

The hypocrites have been on full display in regards to all the hate speech that has been going on. I think most normal people realize that the media cannot be trusted anymore.

First, I don’t think he cares.

Second, the media will spin this as Obama being the hero.

Third, independent voters are political idiots who are uninformed, so it doesn’t matter. :)

So lets see if I have this all sorted out, OK?

0bama is baiting the GOP in the House get into a very public political war if the GOP shuts down the Federal Government over HIS Economy Killing/Government Collapsing Budget, WHILE at at this very same time FULLY endorses the Wisconsin DNC and send his forces to help there while they in effect Shut Down the Wisconsin process of Government?!

Boy this guy is really inconsistent and exceptionally dim if he thinks there no hypocrisy with this picture.

Isn't it unconstitutional what Bambi's doing? Whatever happened to state's rights? This is in addition to Obama firing up the entire mideast.

Barack Obama, the trainwreck president.

I don’t think we’ve ever had a president do something that so blatantly violates the rights of a state. This is not a situation that threatens national security, this is not an emergency, and the Federal government should have no involvement in it.

In addition, since when did a president get the right to call out private people (the unions) to attack a political figure (Walker) he doesn’t like? This is outrageous.

I figured he would insert himself into this.

So it’s the soakers (union thugs) vs. the soakees (average over-taxed citizen).

This will get ugly. Hopefully there still is a “silent majority”, and they stop being silent.

The Superintendent of Madison Schools makes $256,715 + $80+K BENEFITS!

The Governor of Wisconsin only makes $137,092.

ANYBODY SEE A PROBLEM HERE??

Why should the public sector union members be free from any impact from Obama’s failed policies? I sure bet they do not see it that way. To think they would have to pay more for pensions and health-care. Just awful they even have to pay for food, fuel or even pay per view. Were does it end?

It’s evident that the participants in Wisconsin were not schooled in World History or Civics, outside agitators included. Sorry, losers. Wisconsin’s goin’ back to conservatism whether the losers like it or not.

There was a time when even the left wing press might have acknowledged this . . . but that time is long gone. All bets are off. They have taken to the mattresses to save their idol, Obama.
