I don’t understand why they were waiting/looking for the Dem Senators in Wisc in order to vote. Wouldn’t there be some sort of quorum figure in that body that would allow the Repubs to simply convene and vote whatever they wanted? I never did understand your State procedures.
They need one, and only one, of the Dems present for a vote to have the quorum.
