MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Groups are taking the first steps toward recalling two Democratic state senators who have fled the Capitol to avoid a vote on an anti-union bill.
A group of citizens in Kenosha say they plan to file paperwork on Monday to form an exploratory committee to recall Robert Wirch of Pleasant Prairie.
In Eagle River, another group is preparing to file paperwork to form a committee to explore recalling Jim Holperin of Conover.
Wirch and Holperin are two of the 14 Senate Democrats boycotting the state Capitol to avoid a vote on Republican Gov. Scott Walker's bill...

My understanding is that there has to be 20 Senators present to vote, our Team only has 19
Somebody who is good in Photoshop should take portrait shots of each of these reps and modify their eyes to look like the eyes of The Runaway Bride.
Just an idea.
Carpenter’s mailbox is already full. Tried to call earler this a.m. However I did cc him on an email of support to Governor Walker where I mentioned that I was presently without representation in the Senate. Someone replied looking for my address so he could pass my comments along to the proper rep. I gave it to him with both barrels.
Did his campaign ad start with, “I’m not a Wirch. I’m just a d*ckhead...” ?
Cut off their cell phones if they are owned and paided for by the State.
The fugitive leader said they were not all in the same place so cut their communications.
Cut off their e-mail accounts if paid for by the State.
Surround the places they are staying and deny any food or water from reaching them.
Be sure to post the url for the org, they will need funds for signature collection.
“Fine idea but what are their chances of succeeding considering the voting population of the districts. “
Doesn’t matter if they lose the recall election. They succeed merely by getting it on the ballot. Forces the slimy bastards to come scurrying home to defend their privileged positions! Oh, and when they scurry back, then the Wisconsin State Police can escort them to the Senate chambers!
Do not assume that the liberals will turn out to vote.
Supposedly the Democrats are targeting 9 GOP Senators in a recall.
That is brilliant - we need to send it along to Governor Scott Walker. Anyone know how?
I remember that, it was 2003.
My question is of the 53 killer D's, how many are still in office?
Were they victims of the redistricting or from pissed constituents?
No recall is necessary. THe democrats have violated their oathes of office. The legislature can bar them, the Sargent At Arms can clean OUT their desks, change the locks on their offices, and the Legislature can declare special elections to fill the vacant seats.
Good to see this. Our leftist Chicago media have only reported on groups planning to recall the governor...
Push this recall seriously.
The Governor should declare their (the AWOL Democrats) seats vacant and call for elections to fill the vacancies in 60 days.
Surely there must be at least one dead Dem senator that can show up and vote just like they do on election day.
They are NOT doing their jobs.
Dereliction of duty at the very least......
