I would guess that these buildings weren’t being put to any godly use anyway.

"Doesn't that seem a bit, er, strict?"

That's why we need a Savior. When you hear the phrase "Jesus Saves", what (or who) is it you think he saves us from?

"That God doesn't seem to be anywhere near as active these days."

I wouldn't be so certain of that.

It would provide some certainty and clarity to this agnostic.

Good. Enjoy!

The Orthodox Church did this 1300 years ago. The difference being at least they died fighting before they did.

True, could very well be that these churches are receiving their own form of death for their sins. (or for their abject stupidity)

Can you name any incident where He clearly and unquestionably zotted anyone within, say, the last half-century?

I would really like to know, seriously!

But Dr. Alex McFarland, a Christian theologian and radio talk show host, charged these churches “have crossed the line from respect and tolerance, to ... affirmation and endorsement.

"We as the church are called to show love, we're called to help. But to let a building simultaneously be used for the activities of a mosque and also the activities of Jesus Christ, it's just incompatible. And I think it's one more example of political correctness and hyper-tolerance gone awry."

Preach it like it is brother!

Doesn’t surprise me at all that these churches are opening their doors to Muslims using their facilities....been going on for several years now. Unfortunately it does reveal the status of these churches complete ignorance and blindess of God’s word. But then “social” churches have little or nothing to do with the things of God as He determines...rather they tack “religion” onto their agendas in order to deceive the ignorant....our country is ripe for deception now.

Suicide. Their church is now a Mosque and when Christians pray there in the future they are committing a sin against Islam. Self hating liberals.

Lots of “Christian” churches aren’t Christian. I once talked to a Baptist preacher who had no idea who Christ is.

Many Christians will sell out to Islam and reject Christ. This is merely the beginning.

Useful idiots tend to blow kisses to their own executioners as they step up onto the gallows. They tend to see the rope around their neck as a lifeline. That's why we call them idiots.

When you hear the phrase "Jesus Saves", what (or who) is it you think he saves us from?

As I understand conventional Christian doctrine, Christ's death on the cross atones for mankind's original sin (Adam & Eve, the forbidden fruit, etc.), and all subsequent sin...correct?
