Just playin’ Devil’s Advocate here ...
I agree that the unions need to make financial concessions, but limiting collective bargaining is a bit controversial.
Especially since I saw a MSM report that SOME unions [the ones that supported Walker in the election] were bein’ exempted ...
Thats NOT right - either ALL the unions should be affected, or NONE ...
Thats the American Way ...
Here in Michigan there will be a rally Wednesday at Lansing. They are gonna be yelling KEEP 312. Refering to a binding arbitration law the GOP may throw out.
I asked one of them about layoffs and he answered as if well that was something else, they didn’t deal with too much, or some incoherent rational.
Well they better decide which they like best ....arbitration or keeping a job.
The unions love mob rule. That’s all that they know.
I hope and pray that the majority of both houses of the legislature hangs firm.
Everything I’ve seen...including a hastely put together, heavily attended counter protest today...tells me they will.
Gov Walker....STOP PAYING the staff of the AWOL DEmo Senators, after all if theyre NOT at work, why do they need a staff???

[Feb 22, 2011] "In a show of solidarity, AFSCME and SEIU members are again scheduled to wear "Together We Can!" sticker buttons at work that day. The stickers feature that slogan along with a green (AFSCME) and purple (SEIU) "unity fist bump" logo. Union members also wore the stickers on Feb. 10, which was the opening day of bargaining."
