I worked at the Auto Parts plant at few years ago. Management could not terminate a certain skilled trades union member. Only when that employee turned his eratic behavior towards his brothers, did the union agree to terminate the loon
My son is a super libertarian, so we don't see eye-to-eye on many issues but sometimes we do.
Of my 2 girls, one is a moderate conservative who loves debating (trying to, rather) with brain-dead liberals on message boards.
My younger daughter doesn't really like politics...although she's still in college and hasn't let the loony professors get to her, so there's hope there!

Vicki is the best. I’ve listened to her Madison show for many years and I even can get the signal for the Milwaukee show.
I emailed her recently, about the WI Supreme Court race, and she got back to me in about an hour. I was amazed. She is wonderful. I think we are sisters separated at birth.

The man I helped elect as goveror, Scott Walker, should use this illegal teachers union strike to fire every teacher who chose their wallet (AGAIN) over the kids they’re supposed to teach (even though they don’t do that well).
Fire them and get rid of the liberal agenda in the schools at the same time.

Glad to hear that. I was a bit concerned because of the reports of what the other side was doing, but it looks like they didn't physically attack our side. Good news!

If I may make a suggestion, try if you can to get your daughters to at least take one or more of the womens self defense classes offered at the college or university.
It won't guarantee that they do not turn into liberals, but it will teach them that they are alone responsible for their own safety. Which is not a liberal concept.

At the end of our rally it was time to head back to the shuttle bus rendezvous point. The union thugs and their useful idiots were marching counterclockwise around the capitol in the street. I walked clockwise right up the middle of their mob (wearing my FreeRepublic jacket) for almost two blocks. The waters parted as I refused to give ground...made it without a scratch...but I did need to shower upon returning home.
LOL having worked with UAW folks for 40+ years I learned that they are generally abusive in mobs but quite nervous one-on-one. And I’m only 5-6 and 155#.
