I cant wait to see Baraq campaigning on 4 more years of 10% unemployment, $4 gasoline, and surging food prices.
Oh and stock and commodity prices are up - recovery for Wall $treet but not Main Street.
When faced with the results of their folly; they simply LIE with a great big grin on their face. Then dare people with, “who you gonna believe, ME, or your LYIN’ EYES?” He’s charming, but not that charming. Oh, they’ll manipulate the numbers on the 10% unemployment, $4 gasoline and surging food prices; then quote those statistics; although the truth about how things are will be evident as they are now. - Today we stopped at our favorite fruit and vegetable stand. Her stock was way down; and she said she could not afford to buy the stuff any more. $50 for a small sized file box of tomatoes? Green peppers she can’t even get now. It’s a sorry state of affairs; and Obama defies a court order to cease and desist on the drilling moratorium. If he doesn’t want to sink this country (and Whitey); he’s doing a good impression of someone who does). I’m sick of his jive turkey posturing and fomenting violence while feigning just the opposite. I’m down the rabbit hole in Alice in Wonderland.
Somehow I think Barry is going to decide he needs to “spend more time with his family” instead of run for reelection.
But, yeah, it could go either way.
“I cant wait to see Baraq campaigning on 4 more years of 10% unemployment, $4 gasoline, and surging food prices.”
What he is doing is a cynical political trick.
He proposed a budget that does not cut the third rail of politics — entitlement reform.
He lies through his teeth, claiming deficit and debt reduction and generous cost savings. His people, and many in the media, accept that on face value.
He is like Lucy holding the football for the GOP. He can’t wait until the GOP runs forward to kick the ball. The GOP will try to cut entitlement spending and try to get other gov’t spending under control.
But BO and his minions in the press are just waiting to pull the ball up right before the GOP kicks it. They will do this by attacking the cuts — claiming it will harm seniors and poor women and children. They will play the victim card, the class card, the race card to attack GOP spending.
Unfortunately it just might work.
