I have not skied Vail in 25 years, but the last time I was there I recall what a double take it was to see a black skier on the slopes. I think I only recall one in perhaps 10 cumulative days of skiing over a several year period.

I’ve tried to take my black Lab skiing, but they discriminate against her and won’t sell a lift ticket for her. (I’m not kidding - the ski patrol skis with their avalanche dogs and all have fun. I’ve been on the chair with the dogs.)
