As Sen. Barry Goldwater observed in Conscience of a Conservative, the First Amendment guarantees freedom of association for union members. But "[e]mployers are forbidden to act collusively for sound reasons. The same reasons [should] apply to unions...Let us henceforth make war on all monopolies -- whether corporate or union. The enemy of freedom is unrestrained power" -- whether it be unrestrained management power or unrestrained union power.
"People of the same trade seldom meet together even for merriment and diversion, but the conversation ends in a conspiracy against the public or some contrivance to raise prices." - Adam Smith
That quote by Smith is usually cited against businesses colluding - but it describes unions to a "T".

I agree....But I seem to remember this little thing called “shop talk” from my foreman days.

That was the blanket excuse the NLRB and the courts gave for most anything union goons said or conspired when they got together.

Unions are monopolies that should be over with.

In Wisconsin they only need 17 State Senators for a quorum on non spending items. They need to make it a right-to-work state and abolish public employee unions too
