Let the media commence with calling him a racist and a xenophobe....

A Latino president of a Tea Party group; that should make Liberal heads explode.

So far he sounds like a real conservative; at least, what I have read about him.

but ... but ... but ... I thought all Tea Partiers were Red-Neck White Racist Hicks. Chris Mattews told me so. Kieth Olbermann did too. < / sarc

Maybe it's just me, but the spontaneity of the whole Tea Party movement precludes the idea of leaders, "presidents" and treasurers and money, and all that, spilling through sticky fingers and personal fights over turf... that sort of thing.
The minute I hear some news-reader in the Legacy Media-land speaking about so-and-so as a "leader of the tea party," I get to pinching my seat. Walls go up.
