Her departure only two months into her new term
That didn't take long. Poor planning on her part?

Good luck to them....Getting a rich Democrat to pay for something THEMSELVES...You’d have better luck asking the First Wookie to skip a meal! LOL
To: Libloather
"Poor planning on her part?" Hardly.
Harman's your typical Elite opportunist...
To: jakerobins
So she’s decided to “cross the aisle” and go to work for a (neo)conservative organization? How bipartisan of her.

Not a single Democrat incumbent lost last Nov.
Not even the dead one.
I’m not kidding.

It's undoubtedly something really simple ~ like her husband couldn't get a security clearance so she could stay on the Intelligence committee.
That started when he bought Newsweek for $1. He got a lot of security problems with that purchase.

If you know anything about Harman you know she’s long been targeted as “too far right” for the Democratic party. Her district used to be Republican and had a lot of defense contractors but that industry is dead and the district’s makeup has changed. Whoever ultimately replaces Harman will be LEFT of center and certainly left of her.
To: newzjunkey
Indeed, her district could be fairly characterized as a gaggle of anti-American dirtbags.

If you know anything about Harman you know shes long been targeted as too far right for the Democratic party. I do know, as I have followed most of her career and I live in her district. I recall Queen Nancy deprived Harman of a committee chair position that was rightfully hers recently. Bad blood between the women.

Are you talking state Congressmen? I don't believe that - if it was true, California would have a Republican House.
Are you talking Federal? I don't believe that either.
Are you talking primary fights? Because I wasn't talking about primaries.
What is your source? REAL source. Not DailyKos.

Dude, try a little civility and then, maybe, google on something to the effect of “United States House of Representative Elections, 2010”.

Yes - it is true, 54 incumbent Democrats were defeated.
But not a single one of them was from California.
Do me a favor, try actually paying attention to what is being said before you start spouting off please.

Umm, young man, you'll recall that you were the one making bizarre claims that no incumbant lost a congressional election in 2010, and that you continued to make that claim even after it was pointed out you were wrong.
That you've now changed that claim to apply only to the US Congressional delegation from the State of California is an apology which I will accept.
