The findings of this study are politically incorrect. Expect this study to disappear from public view. We have been trained not to link any risky homosexual behaviors to spread of diseases.
More likely this story is pimping for the new cervical cancer vaccine which might protect you from some of the viruses that might cause cervical cancer.

... oral cancer stemming from the human papilloma virus is more common in the U.S. than oral cancer caused by abusing tobacco. This is why the government has banned oral sex in public parks.

I always wondered how people who’ve never even seen a cigarette in their lives get oral cancer.
Never thought of that.

My only regret is that I have but one life to give for the cause!
If such be the price, then gladly will I pay it!
No burden too great, no sacrifice too dear.
Neither rain nor sleet nor driving snow shall keep me from my appointed rounds.
On another note:
Oral cancer rates: 10.5/100,000.
Firearm death rate: 11.5/100,000.
I will take my chances.

Edward Bernase (sp) promoted smoking as an “Oral Fixation”...
But it looks like both now cause cancer.

I am a dental hygienist. Women are getting throat and oral cancer at an alarming rate from HPV. Most cervial cancer is also caused by HPV. These cancers develop quickly and are often asymptomatic. Men as well as women need to be tested for this infection. The HPV vaccines protect against the 3 most common HPV viruses that are associated with cancers. These HPV vaccines have now been approved for boys as well as girls. This is a true epidemic. The sad fact is that most insurance companies still don’t cover oral cancer screening tests performed in the dental office, and people don’t want to pay for them out of pocket.
