WASHINGTON--It was all in a recent day's work for Valerie Jarrett.
She reassured Jewish leaders about White House strategy on Egypt, helped the First Lady sync her spring agenda with her husband's, ushered a former Fed chairman into the Oval Office, soothed Rev. Al Sharpton's concerns about education policy and took a stroll with President Obama across Lafayette Park to patch things up with some irritated CEOs.
The schedule illustrates why no one else in the White House now has a range of responsibilities equal to Jarrett's. When Obama took office she was the least seen of his four senior advisors. Now chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel and chief political strategist David Axelrod have returned to Chicago, and Press Secretary Robert Gibbs has also departed. Jarrett, 54, remains, picking up new duties from each of them. Long the closest personal confidante of Barack and Michelle Obama, she is steadily becoming more visible at Obama's side.
The new chief of staff, Bill Daley, is the White House major domo. But when there is a staffer in the presidential limo, more often than not it is Jarrett.

I'd say it is more likely that Obama is Valerie's right-hand man.
I saw Jarrett on TV the other day and if she is where the power is we are in much bigger trouble than even I thought
One of the Washington Insider articles, indicated the same. Basically, Jarrett is running the show and covering for Obama. He was uninvolved and bored with many parts of the job.
Yup. She IS the president.
Is this woman, born in Iran, the reason our Mid East policy is so messed up?
So, she, instead of Obama, is running in 2012?

After lunch, Valerie “Radar O’Reilly” Jarret finished off her day by calling the leaders of UK, Germany and France and insulting them, apologizing to both Ghadaffi and the Muslim Brotherhood in Libya for America’s lack of understanding, called for an air strike on Wisc. Governor Walker’s mansion, sent flowers to Castro, and read Mao’s Little Red Book to a schoolroom full of second graders. “Just another busy day taking care of Dear Leader,” sighed Comrad Jarrett.
She really is dumb as a box or rocks....I will say that probably makes her brighter than her boss though.

I agree. The Kenyan is an empty head and suit. An empty vessel being used by the real people in control. He stands where he is told and says what is written for him. You can tell when he goes off script to speak or answer a question he can barely put a sentence together without all those pauses. Not very convincing. And we were told this guy was such a great speaker! A uniter! What B.S.!!! He has been pimping the White House since Day 1. Taking advantage of all the perks that come along with it. Sure, he has visions of what “His America” should be. Universal Health Care, redistribution of wealth, green energy (no oil), new world order and so on and so on. Now,today he will let his handlers run the country while he starts his re-election campaign. Another 4 years of sucking off the Govt teet! And if he doesn’t win, no biggie - he already grasped the brass ring. He is set for life. SS protection for life, speaking engagements for six figures, personal appearance’s around the world. He won’t have to work another day for the rest of his life!! Why start now!
