Honolulu asking for apology from Rush Limbaugh

HONOLULU (AP) -- The Honolulu City Council has approved a resolution urging radio show host Rush Limbaugh to apologize for comments on China's president.

The Star Advertiser reports that the City Council voted 8-1 Wednesday asking the talk show host to apologize for what it termed "offensive and derogatory remarks" made about Chinese President Hu Jintao on his Jan. 19 radio program.

I do wonder why Rush, Beck and many other conservatives have not delved into the lack of BO records including BC, College Transcripts, SS#, Passport, etc. I find this very disturbing as these paragons of conservative communication have done little more than rehash juvenile issues about the communist manifested by the Democrat majorities. I've grown very tired of this basic reactionary tactic that has done very little to engage the real battle. I am starting to think that the talkers really have done so well during this period that their vested interest is not necessarily that of the principled American conservatives.

Did the City of Honolulu also ask for an apology from NBC over its own portrayal of President Hu Jintao by not one but two whiteys on SNL?

I'd dare say in that case, those were "more offensive" than anything Rush would put on the air.

Of course we probably know they didn't even think about condemning NBC because such things are only worthy of condemnation when a conservative does them.

The have dumped all their cheap, lead-paint poisoned crap on us for years to soften us up. They got most of our manufacturing and got most of us to depend on a government check. Government goes broke, riots in the streets, they take possession of what’s left. With their growing economy and the rest of the East the only thing they need us for is water and farmland. I’m sure “the powers that be” have already signed over our natural resources as collateral for all those worthless dollars. (yes I like your tagline ;-)
