Surely there’s some statute that allows lawmakers to defend the state Capitol against mob action. Fire codes? Loitering? Vagrancy? Mopery with intent to gawk?

Looking the pictures, I wondered about fire codes, too. It’s hard to believe that it’s ok for that many people to be in the the building at once.

But I figured they were afraid to move people out forcibly because of how it would look on TV.

I just hope, once they do get the building cleared, there are lots of pictures of the filth left behind. I bet it’s a mess in there.
