Seven-term Democratic representative David Wu is being asked to step down, after sending a picture of himself in a tiger costume to his staff. But it's not just the tiger pic - seven staff members resigned after the 2010 election season, in which Wu exhibited some bizarre office behavior. On Tuesday, Wu appeared on Good Morning America to address it all. First off, the tiger costume: It was just ......posted using frpa

I always liked this song, but found the furry animal costumes in the video slightly disturbing:

I really don't see the big deal. He dressed up to play with his kids, according to the article. Maybe he shouldn't have sent the photo to the staff. But some staff may have been with him awhile etc. Now there is a problem with ten staff members jumping ship after the last election, but there is no mention of his behavior to let us know what his mental state was. Hey, I lived in New Orleans almost my entire life. You want to see pics. of people dressed up? Congress is important but don't we hate the pompous ass “Hey look how important I am type” of Congresscritter. The Louisiana delegation has a carnival ball every year and they dress up for it. At least he has a sense of humor.
Flame away.

First off, the tiger costume: It was just Wu dressing up to play with his kids, and he admits it was "unprofessional and inappropriate" to send to his staff.

I don't see the problem. If he was dressing up as a tiger to play with his kids, and took a picture of the scene and sent to his staff, who cares? I'd have to say the incident indicates he's kind of a fun loving guy, nothing more. Maybe there's more to it. But generally, I have more respect for grown men that are willing to put on an innocent costume and be photographed.

What’s the problem? It’s his voting record that matters.
Maybe he can get extra benefits or a committee chair through the ADA.

Ah, you do know who that is, don't you?

I live in Las Vegas. Nowhere else in the world can show me a person “dressed up for his kids” like Las Vegas can. Folks here dress up. For anything. For anyone.

No flames here...just a caution: In this day and age of electronic messaging, one should contemplate the wisdom of posting a personal photo. The photo would be better off kept in a personal file.
