Yes. My Black, Evangelical friends didn't vote for him but most of her Black, Evangelical friends did. They will still support him. I told her at the time that their race was more important to them than their ideology.

I don’t believe so. Obama has done nothing for the Black Community. What “change” has occurred under his administration to better their lives? He was supposed to be the “hope” to better way of living. Now his reckless abandonment of DOMA will only draw that wedge even deeper. You can look at many different polls and one thing that is consistent is the Black Community feels strongly in their opposition to gay marriage. Some will say well Obama may not get 95% of the vote but he will get 85%. Obama will need to get the turn out he received in 2008 to win. He is losing the support of the youth, independents and seniors (strongest voting block) and any percentage of loss in the Black vote will lessen his chances for a win. Like I said before he took a gamble with this decision and I think he will loose big time.
