At the Capitol on February 25, 2011, my husband and I confront protesters who are using the Veterans Memorial as a place to tape a lot of signs and pile up their stuff. They say that we are the first people to have a problem with it.

I forgot to add that not only will their junk still be there the next morning, but some of those flags might be gone. I hope the police are watching but don’t hold out much hope.
You are kinder than I would have been. After calmly explaining it once and requesting that they relocate their trash then getting their weak bull s**t response I would have ID’d myself by my retired military rank and given then a direct order to relocate their crap. Know that they would just laugh at me I would have contacted capital security to come and make them to relocate their sh**.
During the Korean War Commemoration period I visited middle school classrooms to teach the students about the Korean War. I explained that even though the war had never ended and all we had was a cease fire, our actions had managed to keep communism from spreading to the Republic of Korea and beyond. One of the teachers told me the students did not know what communism was so I had to incorporate that into the program.
Later I mentioned to the principal that I was surprised the students did not know what communism was. He told me the young teachers had not been instructed in it!
madison, wi care about a memorial. Camp Randall stadium builtto Honor that the Wisconsin Union Soldiers collected before going to their respective areas in the US to fight in the Civil War. . Sure there is a plaque signifying the Camp Randall was situted in the area. But the actual site is under the Kohl Center (herb Kohl donated the Money for the Center). Old Abe was an eagle that was a mascot eagle whom flew around Battlefields during the civil war. when the capitol building burned in Madison the taxidemied eagle went up in flames. If I remmebr right in the Wisconsin Capitol Rotunda there is a plaque that speaks of Ols Abe. I have seen the protests in Madison and the protestors have used the exhibitions cabinets to assist in displaying their protest signs. The marble guard rails that overlook the area of the rotunda have a significance for the State in its history too. The inside of the Capitol is rather nice, but now it probably stinks to high heaven. Thankfully on Sunday at 4PM the protestors are being encoraged to leave. But some of those protestors will get in their sleeping bags to make a statement - this is the people’s capitol. It is funny when asked to leave they will fight, the police will arrest them, and instead ogf going home they will go to jail. If it is felony trespassing and they are a college student guess what no student aid for college, they are ineligible for grants and loans because they have committted a felony. Great way to end your college career.
I would love to see every swinging D of them budding young Communists packed up and kicked out of a C-130 somewhere over Afghanistan along with all their stupid displays let them work their way back to Wisconsin if they got any street smarts. Then see if they could learn to respect others peoples property and Memorials.Flashback to the crap we saw in the sixties young Communists still looks like useful idiots they didn’t even change their uniforms. Too stupid to even know they desecrated a Memorial with their stupid CRAP.Andi should learn what from them? That their need a size 11 jump boot shoved up their A-— for being a dumba-—?
I have many veterans in my family...would be hard-pressed to find one that wasn't...immediate family resting at Arlington. If I had been there; I would probably be in jail.

After the Glenn Beck rally in Dc, the park AND the Veteran's Memorial was left, as one park ranger said: “Cleaner than when they came.”
The rally following that, with thousands of bussed in union scum, trash left everywhere - including all over the Memorial.
And THIS is the difference between people who believe in a higher power and those who think they ARE the higher power, thereby have the right to rule others and to leave their trash anywhere - for others to clean up.
I pray someone has made them take their trash off and from around the Memorial. The capitol will be closed tomorrow for clean up.
Does anyone know anyone who can go to the capitol just before it closes and get videos of the mess they leave behind?
In the meantime, this video needs to go viral. Send it to everyone, post it everywhere...keep clicking it on YouTube to keep it up front.
Call the congressmen/women and senators in WI and DEMAND that Memorial not be so disrespected again.

I’m hoping Beck’s ‘Blaze’ website picks it up where it can be viewed in its entirety...it is too long for any television broadcast to run with it; although creative editing might help.

Long before people are this age, they have an inner compass that, when followed, tells what kind of person they are...and THEY are responsible.
These scum could use a good bath, shampoo and clean cloths.
And hopefully, one day they will reap their just rewards - and they won't like it. I hope one day they are going to find themselves in a position when they'd pray for a soldier to come to their rescue - but there's no soldier around. I guarantee you not ONE of those punks could make one week of boot camp.
I could not have keep calm - especially in the face of that bast*rd woman...I would have not bothered to go find someone in charge I would have ripped every stinking paper off that Memorial and thrown everything from around it.
Yeah, the headlines would read: “Irate great granny goes ballistic”
But it would've made the news and let a lot more people see who these brain dead, unwashed slugs are.
