MADISON - With police planning to clear the state Capitol of protesters Sunday, some demonstrators Saturday night were preparing to peacefully resist removal from the building.
Capitol Police announced early Saturday that they intend to close down the Capitol at 4 p.m. Sunday. But little information was provided about exactly how the huge building will be cleared of thousands of protesters, some of whom have been sleeping on the marble floors since Feb. 15.
And there were several indications late Saturday that some won't walk out of the building when asked. Posters went up in several places announcing that three "non-violence training" sessions were scheduled for late Saturday night.
Also, organizers distributed instructions for those who choose to peacefully refuse to leave. Among the options listed was going limp and being carried out by officers.
"I will leave peacefully," said Neil Graupner, one of the protest organizers, Saturday. "But I can't speak for my friends."
Another protester spoke to the crowd about what to expect Sunday and how to behave.
"Don't fight with the people who carry us out tomorrow," she told the crowd. "They're not who our fight is with. It's with Scott Walker and the people who support his bill."
Some were questioning why it is necessary to remove the demonstrators. "I'd rather they keep the Capitol open," said Madison Mayor David Cieslewicz on Saturday.

I have an idea - trade them for the AWOL RAT Fleas. A win-win.
Turn off the heat, turn off the water, close the bathrooms, open all outside doorways...
Let people leave if they are hungry or thirsty, but don’t let anyone enter.
They might as well turn the Capitol into a homeless shelter and serve Meals on Wheels. Bring in the cots.
Crying for more money when most people are having trouble paying for gas will fail. Our President is a man of greed and his followers are the same.
And Madison City Hall is closed?
Don't under estimate these freaks.
Bathing is not a habit anyway. Any corner is a good spot to defecate and they can burn paper in the capitol rotunda for heat

Funny you say that - The Capital actually is a homeless shelter in the winter - the basement is opened up to the homeless to make it through cold winter nights -
I saw several videos from the freeloaders and that's exactly what it looks like. They even have free daycare there for cryin' out loud!
One really good cure for nonviolence is violence.
A little mace coupled with plastic manacles and wheel barrows could make a real difference.
It's open to the homeless during business hours only - 8am to 6pm.
Are they still getting free pizza from overseas contributors?
I think tear gas would probably be effective. RAID is probably a viable alternative.
Fire sprinklers will fix that problem...
These are teachers we are talking about! This union is a cancer on our children! They can not win this battle.
How do they get away with sleping in the Capital? Don’e they have laws against this kind of stuff. We use to call it loitering.
Perhaps Freepers should show up at the mayor’s office and occupy city hall for a while. No doubt he would welcome them with open arms, right?
