GOP governors undermine Obama agenda (We don't want Obama's Socialist agenda)

Their ranks swollen after the last election, Republican governors from Florida to Alaska are undermining President Barack Obama's agenda at every turn ahead of the Democrat's 2012 re-election campaign.

Some are rejecting federal money for high-speed rail. Many are fighting the president's health care law. And several are going after the Democratic Party's bedrock constituency, pushing laws that would weaken the power of unions.

Not that any Republican governor will acknowledge that this is politics at play — even if it is.

"Republican governors are doing what they said they would as candidates," insisted Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour, who led the GOP's campaign efforts last fall and may seek the party's presidential nomination. "All this goes back to our commitment in the last election that we're going to get control of spending for the sake of the taxpayers."

"It's not a conspiracy. It's not that we're doing this for a political reason to go after the president," added first term Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett. "We have fundamental disagreements. We have different perspectives."

Exactly - "the president's health care law." It is not a law nor policy the American public likes, wants, nor needs. That piece of sh... er ... legislation is all about obama's big-government, anti-American and un-American socialist agenda.

Not that any Republican governor will acknowledge that this is politics at play — even if it is.

Acknowledge it? They should be shouting it from the rooftops: this is what we're doing and why! We are behind it 100%.

Isn't that why we elected them?

Considering that Obama’s agenda is to bankrupt us, I’m glad they’re undermining his agenda.

An HONEST headline would have read “Obama’s Agenda Undermining American Freedom and Liberty; Republicans Seek to Stop Obama.”

How long would any Democrats be in office if the media were just as conservative as they are liberal?

(Mincing into the room) I mean, er, gee, we don’t want to sound like some kind of conspiracy nuts but we, er, think we ought to TALK about this stuff, we have fundamental differences and all, we’re nice guys really...

Look, don’t “undermine”, BULLDOZE the damned bill okay? A Federal judge already ruled that it’s UNCONSTITUTIONAL , are you listening?? Obliterate it and move on to the next project, do your duty “guys”.

Republican governors from Florida to Alaska are undermining President Barack Obama's agenda at every turn.

And if the governors were Demos and the Prez Repub the sentence would read "(no mention of party)Governors from Florida to Alaska, New York to California, are standing up to (last name of Repub Prez) CONTROVERSIAL agenda at every turn."

Ping to Important Death Care News

Many are fighting the president’s health care law>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.

Some big news Toby, yet unreportedmostly, Obama annpunced to the national governor’s conference today, that individual states could make up theor own mediare adaptation package, which will “save mooney” in each state.
That means that the feds will send medicaid supplements to those states who opt to work out their own “medicare” budget to suit themselves. Its a back door to single payer.

Vermonts lefty Governor Shumlin announced on NPR today, that he would immediately make up a medicare budget which will bring Vermont to a single payer plan by 2014. So there goes private insurance in Vermont...Pfffft!This was not supposed top happen util 2017.

Obama just gave governors permission to initiate single payer insurance, now likely in every dem state, despite the fact that there is a constitutional challenge to the law.Obama wants those Health Care social controls in place ASAP, and is moving up his agenda. The IRS will be his enforcer.

You might want to keep an eye ono this, it seemed like an innocuous medicaid/medicare announcement, but it is very much more than that.

If Republica governors are fighting Death Care, they need to redouble their efforts,Obama just did an end run.

Evil is afoot, however. HBO was running one of their 'specials' last night on the 'right to die' (aka:"physician assisted suicide"), a key component of eliminating freedom via obamacare.

(As if there aren't enough ways to remove one's self from the living without forcing someone else to be an accessory to the fact.)

I no longer believe in coincidences when it comes to 'entertainment'. The propaganda organ has many tentacles.
