Madison — Capitol Police Chief Charles Tubbs said Sunday night that protesters can remain inside the state Capitol.

"The people who are in the building will be allowed to stay,"Tubbs said. "There will be no arrests unless people violate the law."

Several hundred protesters refused to leave the building when the doors were shut at 4 p.m. as authorities attempted to get the state Capitol back to normal working hours.

So, help me understand.... The police are allowing them to stay because they acted ok when they were asked to leave? Eh’??? If they acted responsibly, then they would have left. Something doesn’t make sense?

It is time to infiltrate. Several Freepers need to get in there, acting like the protesters themselves. At the top of the hour, the several infiltrators need to begin saying out loud the prayer to St. Michael the Archangel. Do this around 10 times or so until they all join in. As we have seen from the live video, these union thugs love to join in ‘chants’.

They will think that the prayer is intended to ‘call out the devil Walker’, but the reality is that Our Lord in Heaven knows how the devil is at work here, and will send St. Michael to help us.

But if anyone catches on, I would bet they try to silence us, then it would be another way to show the hatred of the leftist union protesters.

A good way to ‘bait’ the enemy into exposing themselves.

“St. Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil. Be our defense, we humbly pray, and do thou, O prince of the heavenly hosts, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen”

Very militant tatoos. I’d call in the National guard.

These kids look like anti-social losers.

Maybe he is quietly taking names and when this is over, he will press charges or fire them.

Looks like one set of laws for them and one for us. Cops are union like the teachers, so they look the other way? What a crock.

Oops, I slightly mistyped the prayer to St. Michael.

“Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God -
cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits,
who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen”

Just an idea...lock the doors and “forget” to unlock them for a few days...and they could cut the electric and water...

Sounds to me like they are already breaking the law!

ILLEGALS aren't leaving either. Sounds like selective law enforcement to me. Go Figure!

Police Chief Tubbs has a really dark tan. Now that helps all this make sense.

I agree...this is a waiting game. Walker can wait them out...I would not mind a little nudge though. Save the taxpayers some money...turn off the electric and turn down the heat.

Is the gov in charge, or is the unionized capitol police chief in charge? From where I sit, it looks like the capitol police chief is in charge.

WTG gov. Can’t even control your “security forces.” Can’t even derive some rule to bypass the absentees, in hiding.

If these were tea partiers, and the awols were republicans, and the gov a liberal demo, I’d wager the capitol would be cleared, and a workaround for the awol republicans would have long ago been devised.

Gov, if you want to defeat socialists, you’re gonna have to get your hands dirty.

It is playing out well for Walker. That was a good decision not to forcibly clear the capitol building. Now Walker and other Republicans need to start talking about how the democrat legislators who fled the state are not following the state’s constitution and therefore are not following the rules of democracy in Wisconsin. The people elected the legislature and then the legislators vote on bills and the majority vote wins. That means the minority party is always going to lose a lot of votes. If they don’t like it, then they have to persuade the voters to elect more people from their party.

The democrats are acting like bratty kids who just lost a vote within a family about where to go for dinner and threw a temper tantrum and ran out of the house. That’s exactly what they’ve done here. Democracy means you lose some votes when you’re in the minority. The union brats who claim they’re fighting for democracy are lying and trying to twist the whole situation around, because it’s actually the unions that are fighting against the legitimate process of democracy in Wisconsin. There’s no constitutional right to collective bargaining. That is a legal right that can be granted or revoked by the legislature at any time. Now is a good time to partially revoke that legal right in Wisconsin. Walker must not give in to the unions—instead just wear them down and wait them out. Work on recalling the legislators who threw the temper tantrum and left the state. Never cave in to thugs who get angry and use deception, lying, or force against you.

In my area we have three major supermarket chains. One of them all union, one has a few union employees and the third is 100% non-union. When possible I try to use the non-union store. Everything seems to work, employees and management and the store is always well stocked and clean. From my times at the union store, it seem like management is babysitting the employees for the most part, while only hand full of employees run around trying to make up for the lack of work by the others.

I know that if I say anything to the manager of the union store they really can’t do anything. They can’t reward the good employees with better hours or a raise, etc, and they can’t punish the bad employees because the union will defend them.

Why not turn down the heat and turn off all the hot water.

May be more effective to take away their cellphones and other electronic devices.

That would be Charles Tubbs, father of one son who was accused of conspiracy to commit armed robbery and father to another son who faced charges in a string of arsons in 2009.

Sounds like a great dad :(
I wonder how long he will be the Head of Capitol police. Tho the Governor may not have a lot of jurisdiction over Madison police insubordination, it seems like Mr. Tubbs was swing dancing on the line of out-right insubordination with his comments Sunday morning talking heads shows. Will be interesting to see how this plays out for him!

Someone should gather a large group of TEA party folk and a good PR person with media, cameras, etc. Take as many photos and videos of the mess we’ll know the pro-union folk will leave in their wake. Then get the good guys to bust their butts cleaning up behind the thugs. Just make sure to document it. Would drive them nuts and make a really good impression on would-be voters.
