If the poll shows 58% of the people want spending cuts, then in the name of their electoral future, they NEED to cut spending.

It says that there are only three months left in this fiscal year to make cuts and that the majority of the current budget has already been spent. I expect the first full FY budget to contain the needed cuts, and so should every conservative.
