Are you suggesting that the Congressman shouldn’t have been forced to resign?
By the way - unless I’m mistaken, he resigned, but he wasn’t forced, unless you mean he was “forced” by his own knowledge that it would get a lot uglier for him if he didn’t, as there were other craigslist people that would come forward as well.
I’m not saying that at all. But let’s face it, if he’s a Democrat he’d have had no problem remaining in office. Republicans resign either A) Out of shame or B) Knowing the media will BBQ them so they get out of dodge. A Dem would have neither concern is my only point.
