Federal funding is no more that a bribe. Where does the Fed get its funds? From the States of course.

The states should assume it constitutionally guaranteed functions or before too long the country will be known as The United America.

The rubber will hit the road when the state(s) decide that their citizens are affiliated with the state and that the feds have no jurisdiction to tax individuals directly; then protect those individuals from tax liens, imprisonment and seizures. If the individual never goes onto federal territory, the fedgov has no jurisdiction - the county sheriff does.
