Statement in Response to President Obama’s Misunderstanding

Madison– Today President Obama again weighed in against Governor Walker’s proposal to balance the state’s budget deficit by having state government workers contribute a modest amount toward their own pensions and pay 12.6 percent toward their healthcare premiums.

In response to the President’s comments, the Governor’s Press Secretary Cullen Werwie issued the following statement:

I'm sure the President knows that most federal employees do not have collective bargaining for wages and benefits while our plan allows it for base pay. And I'm sure the President knows that the average federal worker pays twice as much for health insurance as what we are asking for in Wisconsin. At least I would hope he knows these facts.

Furthermore, I’m sure the President knows that we have repeatedly praised the more than 300,000 government workers who come to work every day in Wisconsin.

I’m sure that President Obama simply misunderstands the issues in Wisconsin, and isn’t acting like the union bosses in saying one thing and doing another.

He has been magnificent. I have expected him to back off like
“we” always do and am totally in awe of his toughness. We need
“56” more just like him! :)

Our governor needs to stay the course and not give an inch. I have been on the square during some of the organized marches, and to many of the visitors this is as much a party as it is a cause. Do a little protesting, and then go for shade-grown coffee sorta thing.

On a national level, I am concerned with the possibility of
police and firemen unions urging members to ‘Stand in Solidarity’ with SEIU and MoveOn.Org on this issue all across the country.
Anyone else share this concern?

Take a look at this and you will see that this protest is about more than teachers.

Another great thing about this - the COIC (Community Organizer in Chief) - by weighing in on this again, gave the gov. a PERFECT opening to point out simple facts that even a simpleton can grasp...and assured it would have national coverage.

He's getting a lesson about playing with the big boys.

You got that right.

For some reason there seems to be a disconnect for people between Obamacare, the stimulus and the unions.

We need to keep exposing the connections and bring the health care worker SEIU branches into the forefront.

You say: “We need someone like this to run for President.”

We need governors like this to stay right where they are. Good Lord, don't you people get it!

These governors can do thing that can’t be done in DC. They can - and are - establish STATE'S RIGHTS. That will be the biggest weapon against the Federal Gov’t. It will cut them back down to size. We now have 26 - the majority - governorships. We need to add to that, not take a chance on loosing any.

You want someone who isn't afraid to stand firm? Great. Educate yourself on THIS man.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VP2p91dvm6M

WE need a man with the background in management, leading, knowledge and love of our Constitution and country, knowledge and love of our Christian/Judeo foundations, knowledge of Islam - the Koran (which He does not call the “HOLY Koran” as the person in the WH) (AND the Hadith, their book of laws that supersede the Koran - like KILL THE INFIDELS) and who will NOT back down to, coddle our enemies - ‘foreign OR domestic” - no PC.

We need a man like him at the helm by 2012 - and pray that's not too late. With a man like him in charge, the Islamofacists will pull their horns in. You would NOT see what is going on the ME now happening were a man like Col West was our POTUS.

WE are now considered, as we were under Carter and Clinton, a ‘paper tiger’ - a week gov’t who will not strike back. So they are creating chaos now, while they have a weak kneed, lily-livered FRIEND in the WH.

Keep any eye on Thursday's Islam ‘invitation’ rally in front of the WH to ‘invite’ America to turn to Islam. Wake up folks: It's their LAW. Before you attack a person or a country, you must invite them to become Muslim. Once they are offered and refuse, it is then ‘legal’ to attack. Keep you heads down, folks. and eyes up and wide open. they know they have a friend in the WH. WE don't.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1358792/Anjem-Choudary-lead-White-House-protest-calling-Muslims-rise-up.html

(watch his tirade with Hannity - Hannity finally tells him. “You're one sick, miserable, evil son-of-a-bitch.”) Choudary says “the flag of Islam will fly over the WH”)

We can not survive another presidential term of a Mitt or any other good old boy. We'll be VERY lucky to survive until 2012. (I would give you odds that both hannity and West now have fatwas on their heads.) We don't have the time to play “whose turn is it?” We're on the edge of the cliff.

and don't give me, or swallow, the pap that “Oh I like him, but he needs experience first.”

BULL Experience in what? Becoming a good little Foggy Bottom politician.

Wake up.

Haven’t heard much yet. Tomorrow morning they’ll be all over it. I listen to stations from Milwaukee to Green Bay. I know the local station is full of libs (it’s pretty disgusting) so I don’t bother with them. If something interesting happens, I’ll let you know.

Tonite, a FR poster said she heard on her local news, there are 4. So would be wise to shore up all GOP Senators-given the rabidness of these union thugs, I am sure they are under a lot of pressure.

that is exactly why Walker needs to bring this to a close. Walker is strong, but what about the Reps in the state senate? I am sure they are being badgered and threatened dialy. Walker needs to crush the left or they will surely crush him, and us. Our Republic is at the precipice, and Wisconsin may turn out to be the place where the tide finally turned the United States back towards Liberty.

A socialist hell awaits us if we are not successful in Wisconsin. The evil-left will resort to bloody violence in their pursuit of our hard earned wealth. The evil-left must be crushed politically.

No. People that have demonstrated leadership like the Wisconsin governor should move up and run for President. Governorships are great places for candidates to gain executive and political experience. Then there should be backfiling as needed.

Thanks for posting the youtube links for Allen West. That was interesting and I hope him well in his run for Comgress.
