Any business owner who uses largely unpaid labor, with a handful of underpaid, nonunion employees, to build a company that is sold for a few hundred million dollars, no matter how he or she is introduced to you on the television screen, is not a liberal or a progressive. Those who take advantage of workers, whatever their outward ideological veneer, to make profits of that magnitude are charter members of the exploitative class. Dust off your Karl Marx. They are the enemies of working men and women. And they are also, in this case, sucking the lifeblood out of a trade I care deeply about. It was bad enough that Huffington used her site for flagrant self-promotion, although the cult of the self has reached such dizzying proportions in American society that such behavior is almost expected. But there is an even sadder irony that this was carried out in the name of journalism.

Actually aren't they called capitalists? Are these bloggers being forced to write for H? I don't think so. They do it for whatever reason they have quite willingly. They are all libs and they do what libs do: try to teach us why Marxism is such a wonderful thing. They get what they've earned - nothing.

I'm no Arianna Huffington fan but she has no need to apologize to anyone for taking AOL to the cleaners. $315 million? Give me a break. AOL will be lucky to get 10 cents on the dollar when they try to dump it a few years down the road.

I read she was gaming the system by fiddling with their content and googles search algorithms. I wonder what AOL thinks about that? Nothing probably. You are likely correct and down the road Zsa-Zsa's little collection of scabbed web content and "original" content from her slave plantation is going to be worth a happy meal.

Speaking of google, what a scam that company has always been. They steal content and get away with it.
