What rights are being infringed upon? The unions’ rights to free speech or free press? Their rights to bear arms? The laborers’ rights to practice their religion? Could somebody please answer this question for me? What Constitutional right does one have to belong to a union?

Free association is what I heard someone say yesterday when asked that question. Don’t know if that really applies but it seems that is the answer they handed out for that one.

—There in no federal constitutional right (and the existence of right to work states backs this up).

But imagine the outrage from the Left if Republican governors around the nation pulled an Obama, and unilaterally declared forced-unionism to be unconstitutional (as Obama did with DOMA), and said they would no longer enforce it...
