I’m reading this on my Kindle right now. The thing is amazingly well documented. And yes... everything is fully footnoted, and many of them refer to his website where you can bring up the original document.

It’s an impressive way to publish a book. I’ve never seen anything like it. I can be reading along about some event, and to back it up he’s got a scan of some original de-classified report on his web site. In fact it’s really slowing me down because I get all caught up in reading all these old interdepartmental memos, cables, sitreps, or whatever. It’s fascinating to have that level of detail.
