Sam Zell: Obamacare And Dodd-Frank Are Economy-Killing Monstrosities, And There Won't Be New Construction For Years

Billionaire real estate mogul Sam Zell is on CNBC's Squawk Box this morning.
Like many guests, he's furious at the Obama administration over Dodd-Frank and Obamacare, both of which he regards as economy-killing, uncertainty-creating monstrosities that ought to be repealed.
He considers the odds of repeal to be 0%.
As for commercial real estate, his wheelhouse, he doesn't see any significant construction for the next 2-3 years, at least.
Update: He continues to slam US policy, saying that it won't be morning in America (contra Buffett) unless we fix all the things above, and things like the broken immigration system.

Buffett is an Obama cheerleader. And Buffett is probably still advising that everyone load up on bonds too, huh?
HOORAY Sam Zell and any businessman, entrepreneur, job-creator, builder, inventor, capitalist who speaks out against these POS thugs/statist/collectivist parasitic totalitarians.
Well duh. There's a massive oversupply.
Zell is right with will take years if not a decade or more to gain back what this country has lost under four years of Obama. God help us if he is re-elected or the Dems gain control of Congress again as our country would be transformed into some third world socialist state. I have always thought Obama’s vision of what America should be is a mirror image of East Germany complete with a wall to keep people from leaving and a Stasi like police force to keep people from criticizing or questioning the leadership.
Watched Sam live this morning.
He’s a crusty old guy - nice to see somebody who’s not afraid to throw a few sharp elbows at the Baraqqis.
Buffet = Crony Capitalist
It's only been two years. Seems like more, doesn't it?
