i talk into a microphone. and the software is designed to recognize my voice. But it is sensitive a change in the voice because of pain, a cold ot just something simple makes for a word change. It interprets it into text.

It is not perfect you can say a word and move on but the word can be corrected, the easiest way is by bringing a list of words, that have come up as sounds like. and you can find it or you correct it by typing the correct word so the next time it remebers that the word soken was meant for the word. I have only been trying to learn how to use since february 13, I had to train it to recognize my voice, but if I get tired the words get messed up badly.

I try to correct them but after a while i miss words and phrases.

there are also commands for cap That (capitalization). if you pause lately the program puts a cooma or a period.

I get frustrated with it moving from 70 WPM to voice.

some on FR have though I am either drunk or stoned. Neither. just sometimes I do not see my mistakes. I am trying to get better.

Thanks for the patience. whom knows in a couple of weeks I will be nearly perfect on the program. Hopefully when I return back to counseling in April or May I have it down so the case notes will be foolproof. but will have to train it to get the words connected with mental health. I have other software just for legal and medical but it does not include Diagnostic services manual revised IV. . So I am trying to train the computer to recognize the words.
