I’ll bet not. All of the founding fathers brewed their own. Certainly, Jefferson with his love of plants probably had a little brewery going there.

George Washington's small beer recipe is famous. He also had a distillery at Mount Vernon if I am correct.

I would have mentioned George, but e didn’t live in the WH. I don’t know if Adams had a garden, or not. Certainly his kinsman, ol’ Sam, is noted for his brew. (LOL)
