President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama sampled the suds for the first time on Sunday evening, along with some of their 200 guests.
Those gathered including Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony were served gridiron favorites including bratwurst, cheeseburgers, deep dish pizza, Buffalo wings and German potato salad.

The First Ladys office confirms that the White House chefs made one batch of beer using about a pound of honey from the First Ladys honey hive, on the South Lawn of the White House.
The chefs used the traditional methods to brew the beer, and the First Ladys office confirms that the Obamas paid for the equipment.

And Mrs. Obama has also given the harvested honey from the White House hive as gifts. At the G-20 meetings in Pittsburgh the First Lady gave the visiting spouses a wooden box including two jars of White House honey.

Let’s see the rest of the ingredients because the specific gravity using only a pound of honey making enough to bottle and serve 200 people would be a little thin to say the least.
