Time TO Take Out the Trash
Fox and Friends ^ | 4/05/2011 | FoxNews announcement

There is someone organizing a group to clean up the Wisconsin Capitol where the union activists have been camped out for weeks.

He has a page on facebook and was on FoxNews this morning.

Anyone in the area want to help this Tea Partier clean up the Wisconsin capitol after the mess that the union activists made?

He has a page on facebook. Can someone link it here? I never joined. The page is supposed to be called "Time to take out the Trash." We need his name too.

I think this is a great idea -- a contrast between the Tea Party and these union activists.

I forgot to put the time.

The cleanup is supposed to be Sunday at 1 pm.

If anyone finds the page on Facebook, please verify the time.

There’s probably a law that only union labor can be used to do any cleaning at the capital. That shouldn’t prevent people from showing up with brooms, mops, and dust rags anyhow. That would make a great photo op.

Thanks for the link.

Would you give the main details of the cleanup so I don't have to join Facebook to see it?

I think you could be right. Wouldn't that be something — stopped from cleaning up because of union rules.

It’s not about partisanship or protests, but pride.

It is time to take out the trash... literally. In true Flash Mob fashion, on Sunday at exactly 1300 hours (1:00 pm for you non-military types) we will do an extensive police call (pick up the trash) around the capitol square. Regardless of the state the grounds are in, we will do this as both a literal and symbolic way to show our respect for our home.

TEA Partiers know how this is done. It is time to show OUR pride for OUR state OUR way and be the example.
Even if you cannot attend, please share this and invite all of your sane friends who share our love of Wisconsin.

No signs, no screaming, just a necessary cleaning.

Get a MOAB (Mother Of All Banners) to explain who you are and what you are doing. At least have some signage to say you didn't make the mess, but are cleaning it up. Which is a pretty good sumation of the Tea Party.

Someone will have to clean up the trash, eventually. I think the Tea Party can make a great statement by cleaning it up.I heard our rallies in DC were the cleanest they had ever seen. Tea Partyers remove trash.

Anyway, it is possible that they will be refused, due to union rules. Can't think of a better way to show some of the useless rules of unions. They make a mess, then have other union members paid to clean it up.

The facebook page says they don't want people carrying signs, but I like your idea. They should have one banner telling who the worker bees are.

Thanks for the pictures. What a contrast between Obama supporters and the Tea Party. We love our country. They apologize for our country.

Another thought: bring the kids! Pictures of children and/or teens cleaning up after their teachers should be priceless.

That's a great idea. I can't go. I live in North Carolina, but I sure hope some Freepers go and take pictures. They showed some video on Fox News of the mess the sit-ins made.

The pics will show a stark contrast of ordinary citizens cleaning up the mess of the union activists.

Excellent idea! I sure hope the organizers are able to attract whole families for the clean-up.
