I’m probably pig-ignorant and don’t know what I’m talking about, but here it goes, feel free to disabuse me of my opinion.

It seems blatently obvious to me that most of our congressmen, house and senate alike, are in the pocket of OPEC. Not Big Oil, necessarily, but OPEC. There is ABSOLUTELY no reason for the US to not be developing its own resources, yet, the EPA refuses to allow it. OPEC, I would guess, is being manipulated by either the Communists or some other group, because while the idea of keeping the US energy dependent (what was the Department of Energy’s manadate again?) benefits them, if the US economy is harmed, ultimately they will lose money. Strategically, keeping the US from developing its own oil weakens the US in event of war. The strategic assessment of what happened in 2008 would indicate the recent run up in oil prices will be funding, most likely, the move from the dollar as the reserve currency and the subsequent collapse of the US economy.

So, please feel free to disabuse me of the notion that, in fact, the US government, by way of the Legislature and Bureaucracy, is actively participating in harming the citizens of the US, and are participating in a treason against its People, and all that such action by the government implies for its People.

Please diabuse me, for if what I am suggesting is true, it is long past due for a march on Washington, to throw the bums out. Obama would approve, as he suggested the same for Mubarak and the President of Honduras.

What’s good for the Egyptian Goose, is good for the Kenyan Gander
