Pretending you've met the love of your life after a 3 minute encounter in a public restroom is a delusion that makes for frowns and unhappiness.
Sadly my son and his friend (whose name and personality seem the very reverse of a Revolutionary war Officer) have met many such loves during their “committed” relationship. They can’t figure out why I can’t accept their “union” and I can’t figure out why they refuse to believe the truth-death is not the best resolution to their choice of lifestyle-but it is a sure bet the result of such unless they repent.
