Yes, I see how that could explain it. I think I must have not been watching the video the whole time, just listening while doing something else. I didn't realize that they had taken the closeup from the ground, and that the taping was continued from the helicopter. Perhaps they had to scramble to get away from the cloud of debris, which would account for the lag in the tape.

Still, there's something not quite right about this video. Maybe I should watch it again, but it's really not that interesting.

No, it’s really not that interesting, except from the human-interest angle. The news-chopper footage was spectacular in comparison, because there were professional cameraman involved, instead of policemen.

The only really new stuff here is the footage from ground level. I have no idea why they landed the helicopter right here and right then. I know if it had been me, I would have landed because I had to be violently ill, but I would never have been able to get back into the helicopter. I also have no idea why they appear to be in New Jersey at the end. But it really doesn’t matter.
