"Carole Hankin, the superintendent of the Syosset Central School District, earns $506,322 a year – more than the President of the United States. Her salary, paid for by taxpayers, is compensation for running a tiny school district comprised of 10 schools and 6,687 students.

How is that even possible, who in the heck was responsible for this. The story says that the Unions are upset about clamping down of these Superintendent salary's?

Do the Unions actually represent the very people they negotiate with? We know about electing politicians but this would be crazy.

What do you mean, represent the very people we negotiate with? WE don’t get to do any of the negotiating. The unions control both sides of the negotiating table, the tax payers are left under the table. That’s why the states want to end collective bargaining, the state employees are bargaining with their own reflections in the mirror.
