Discovery: Only Mythbusters marathons now. Although I also really like Flying Wild Alaska. National Geographic: Really like the program where they examine air accidents and look at why they happened--it helps create a safer atmosphere. History: Was once great but now forgets who it is and is trying to be the new TLC/Discovery with only reality shows now, UFO programs, or programs that seem dedicated to proving Christianity a farce and that Jesus actually came from a UFO. Military Channel: Favorite... hands down.

You know, as much fun as this “punk” is, all we get out of it as tax payers is the opportunity to say “Aha! We knew it all the time!” Nobody is going to step up, defund the damn thing and keep it from happening again. Just some noise from Cantor, etc, no action...
Get RID of the funding of NPR, Pub TV, CSPAN, Planned Parenthood, etc. or we are no better than the dopes who are part of unions, having their dues used “against” them if they are conservatives...

What the NPR people said about conservatives is mild - they weren't talking to friends... it was a lunch - in a public place - with strangers. You get a liberal alone and it's 'katie bar the door' time. These folks are prejudiced - and hateful. And extremely closed minded about anything outside their narrow little belief system. Most of them have never met a member of the Tea Party or a conservative. They get "letters" from so called conservatives - written by liberals in war rooms - and that's their impression of us...
Fifty years ago most of the narrow minded 'liberals' would have been standing with the KKK... they're 'no think - we believe - don't dare confuse us with facts' types. Ignorant - and proud of it and afraid of people who are different than they are...
I think a perfect example of the “thought process” of libs was the secret taping of Obama and the “bitter clinger” comment...typical and very illustrative of our sitting prez’s thinking...elitist clap-trap...
You're right - that comment of Obama's was in the same vein... Liberal elites talk that way - and worse - when they're together...
My morning paper ran a little thing on the O'Keefe sting - they left out the part about Muslim Brotherhood and bashing Jews. They made out like the people at NPR had to resign because they offended the Tea Party.
The reason NPR executives resigned was because of positions taken relative to potential Muslim Terrorists - showcased by their purported association with the Muslim Brotherhood ( a known terrorists organization) And Antisemitism. Liberal Jews donate big money to organizations like NPR - and that was a concern. If anyone believes liberal elites are worried about what they say about Tea Party members, I've got bridge to sell them.
